Brockholes Nature Reserve has a fantastic climbing forest, play areas, zip wires, and an exciting world for little nature explorers, and boasts and impressive floating visitors’ centre.

Darwen Tower
Built during 1897/8 to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria, over 100 years later visitors can still see the tower standing proudly above the town of Darwen, Lancashire. Darwen Tower is only a 25 minute drive away from the Bluebird Inn and provides stunning views of the Lancashire countryside.
