The Bluebird Inn, located opposite British Aerospace, Samlesbury, offers a choice of delicious menus throughout the week which are filled with pub favourites and seasonal dishes; now with a new menu for the season.
From a hearty lunch with a pint, to a three course evening meal with a bottle of fine wine, we’ve got something to suit everyone and a choice of relaxing areas as well as poseur tables by the bar for a catch up with friends.
Our bar is stocked with a range of JW Lees’ fine cask ales and lagers like our MPA and Manchester Craft Lager, always featuring seasonal special brews, together with a wide selection of wines, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy cosying up in our bar.
The comfortable 20 bedrooms are in keeping with JW Lees Inns and the character of the property, providing you with a comfortable, memorable and relaxing stay.

Pull up a chair with our new Spring menu in Samlesbury. Enjoy delicious seasonal dishes, made for warm days and cold pints with friends and family. Perfect for pairing with our Manchester-made beers, our new menu includes seasonal salads, new signature dishes, succulent grills and more. Not forgetting your pub favourites like our legendary cheese & onion pie, MPA battered cod fillet and the iconic Brewery tower burger.
If you’re planning a midweek catch-up, try our Prix Fixe set menu. Served all day from 12 noon Monday to Friday, enjoy two courses for only 17.45 or three for 19.95. Go on… treat yourself to a laid-back bite and a proper pint.
Sunday is a day of roast. Ours come with bottomless gravy and unlimited Yorkshire puddings (because one Yorkie is never enough and good gravy should never run out). Nothing beats a proper roast, and it’s even better without the bother of cooking and cleaning.

Start the day in Samlesbury the right way with a delicious brunch at The Bluebird Inn. Tuck into Eggs Benedict, Warm pancakes or waffles, Drayman's grill, Smashed avocado and more. Not forgetting your favourite teas, coffees and soft drinks. Served daily.

As we’re in such a great location, ideally located between Blackburn and Preston, The Bluebird Inn makes for a great place to relax and unwind after spending your day exploring the area. All of our bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with free Wi-Fi, Freeview TVs and free parking. As well as enjoying a relaxing night’s sleep, our bar and restaurant are open daily.
